The setting was at the beach, and my cousin looked so beautiful. I have never been to a beach wedding before, and I was really impressed by how nice everything was. Naples, Florida - Day 1

Image
Naples, Florida - Day 1:     My cousin is getting married this Saturday in a beach wedding, so my parents and I left Thursday morning to drive to Naples, Florida. My grandmother lives in Naples, so we went to lunch at Osteria Tulia. I had the Classico Pizza, which has tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and olive oil on it. For dessert, I had the Caramelized Pineapple Pistachio Cake which was out of this world. After visiting with my grandmother and other family members for a while, we went to check into our hotel. Normally, we would stay with my grandmother but there are already several family members staying with her. We are staying at the Inn on Fifth, which is absolutely phenomenal. The rooms are gorgeous and I can't wait to visit the pool. I can't say how amazing this inn is, but it is very pricy. For dinner, my family and I ate at Chops City Grill, which is known for their steaks. I ordered the Petite Filet Steak with the baked potat...

Day 2 - Disney Land

Image
What I did - Disney Land   For breakfast, we ate at Carnation Café, which is located in Disneyland on Main Street. I ordered the Mickey-shaped waffle with sausage ($12.00) and the Seasonal Fruit ($3.00). Mine was excellent, of course you can't go wrong with a Mickey Mouse waffle. My mother, father and grandmother had the Eggs Benedict ($11.00). I had a small taste of it and it was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone. We then explored the park and rode some rides. I even got my grandmother, who is 56, to get on the Pirates of the Caribbean water ride. She complained about getting wet, but she seemed to enjoy herself. At 11:30 am, my grandmother, mother and myself went to the spa for facials while my dad went golfing. We had the Fire & Ice massage ($165.00) which was wonderful. After the spa, we ate lunch at Café Orleans in New Orleans Square. For starters, we split the Pommes Frites ($7.00) which is ...

Day 1 - Disney Land

Image
Day 1 - Anaheim, California:   My parents and I flew from Las Vegas to the Orange County airport. We always go to California in December to visit my other grandmother, who lives in Orange County. My grandmother picked us up at the airport and then we drove to our hotel. Normally we stay at her house, but my grandmother decided to surprise me with a visit to Disney Land. I haven't been since I was ten, so I don't remember it that well. She wanted to buy me a car when I turned sixteen, but my parents forbade it, so this is her gift to me in lieu of a car. I am really excited and very thankful to be going. We checked into our hotel (Disneyland Hotel) and quickly unpacked. We ate dinner at Steakhouse 55 which is located in our hotel. I had the Filet Mignon ($45.00) and my grandmother and I split the duo of Crème Brulee ($12.00). I would highly recommend this everything was delicious. Reservations are suggested and the service was excellent. After the dinner, we went ...

Day 5 - Vegas

Image
What I Did: This morning we ate at Della's Kitchen. I had the Churro Waffle and my mom had the Spiced Pumpkin Pancakes and we shared a fruit bowl. Both of these were delicious and you will not be disappointed if you eat here. After breakfast, we went to the Linq Promenade located by the Strip. We had tickets to ride the High Roller, which I believe is the world's largest Ferris wheel. We did some shopping while waiting on our ride time of 12:00. The view was spectacular and it only costs twenty dollars to ride it. They do have night time rides and I can only imagine how beautiful that must be, but since we have a flight later in the day we had to do it early. After the ride, I grabbed a couple of cupcakes from the cupcake ATM. They have many flavors suitable for anyone, but I had the Sprinkle cupcake. My mom had the Red Velvet cupcake and both were delicious. Unfortunately, we had to leave much sooner than I was ready for. We went to the hotel, grabbed our bags and he...

Day 4 - Vegas

Image
What I did:   My mom and I went back to the outlet mall after breakfast to do some more shopping. I would highly recommend this mall because of all the good values you can find. I picked out a lot of things for my mom to get me for Christmas. We were both pretty hungry after only eating a quick breakfast, so for lunch we went to the Cheesecake Factory. I have eaten there many times in Florida and always love it. We ordered the Edamame for appetizer which was very good. For my entrée, I had the Old Fashioned Burger with Sweet Potato Fries which was yummy. For dessert, I ordered the Cheesecake with Strawberries. Yum! After lunch, my mom and I went on a Segway Tour around Vegas which was so much fun. My mom was a little nervous since she had never been on a Segway, but we ended up having a lot of fun. It costs 120 dollars but was so worth it. We went back to the hotel to rest for a while and I went swimming for a while my mom soaked in the Jacuzzi.   For dinner we at...

Day 3 - Vegas

Day 3 - Las Vegas:   Last night, my parents and I attended the Blue Man Group Show which was pretty fun. My parents didn't enjoy it as much as I did. I have seen one other performance of the Blue Man Group in Orlando, and I rate the Orlando one a lot better. All of the kids in the audience enjoyed it though. We sat in the second row and a poncho is arrived if you sit up front. After the show, we ate at the Burger Bar Mandalay Place. I had the Angus Burger on the whole wheat bun with skinny fries. We ordered the mac n cheese croquettes and for dessert I had the Nutella Milkshake. I can't rave enough about how good this place was. All of our food was delicious and I was really impressed with the milkshakes. I though it was really neat how they had a a lot of different fries to choose from. You can't go wrong with anything you order, and I would highlight recommend the Nutella Milkshake, if you like Nutella.   The next morning my mom and I went swimmin...

Day 2 - Las Vegas

Image
Day 2 - Las Vegas: Last night - After we arrived in Las Vegas and deboarded the plane, we went directly to our hotel before going to eat.  We ate down in the hotel's steak house restaurant and I had a ribeye. It was very good and the service was impeccable. After dinner, I went upstairs to our room and unpacked my clothes. My mom took me to the pool for a while and I had an amazing time.  Today - We ate breakfast at the Veranda in our hotel and I had Tiramisu Croissant French Toast and grape fruit segments.  Everything was amazing, although the service was a little slow. After breakfast, my mom and I went to the spa for manicures and pedicures. The spa was top notch. After that, we went to the Shark Reef which is at Mandalay Bay Resort. It was only about a five minute walk, and the price was pretty good ($20), but it wasn't that big. It was very educational and if you take kids to Vegas; they will probably enjoy it. After that, we ate at Della'...

Day 5 - What I Wore (Alaska Cruise)

Day 5 - What I Wore (RTD) by swimwearlover featuring black shoes Today, we were at sea all day. Tomorrow, we are going aboard to Skagway, Alaska and are planning to go gold-mining. My dad really wanted to do this excursion, so my mom and I are going to tag along and see what its like. Maybe it'll be fun! Today while my dad played basketball, my mom and I went to the spa and had fire and ice manicures and pedicures. They use hot stones (for the fire part) and a cooling gel (for the ice part). It was very relaxing, and my legs felt like jello when I first got up (ha), but I would definitely recommend it. We took in a show after dinner and then went back to our cabin. We have to be up early in the morning, as we get to port at 7 am. I hate getting up early!!   What I Wore: -Hoodie: Striped Hoodie from Zaful -Jeans: Black jeans from withchic.com -Shoes: Black Hi-top Converse -Watch: Michael Kors Watch -Sunglasses: Round Sunglasses from Rayban.com -Ba...

Day 3 - Alaska Cruise

What I Wore - Day 3 (RTD) by swimwearlover featuring a logo top              What I Wore - Day 3 - Alaska Cruise: Today, the cruise disembarked at Icy Straight Point, Alaska from 9am until 5 pm. My parents and I went on a Whale Watching and Zip Riding Tour. It was so much fun, but I was disappointed in how short the zip lining trip was. It was kind of expensive too, but I really enjoyed myself on the whale tour. It was neat seeing so many whales up close. We ate at the Crab Station and the king crab was wonderful, and tasted so fresh. It was probably the best I've ever had. We did a little shopping before heading back to the ship. ****   What I Wore: -Hoodie: Gap Hoodie -Jeans: Hollister Skinny Jeans -Boots: Ugg Mid-calf Boots -Backpack: Michael Kors -Tee: White Tee Shirt -Beanie: Navy Beanie from Miss Selfridge -Earrings: MK Earrings -Watch: MK Gold Watch **** Thanks for reading, Jen...

What I Wore: Day 2 (RTD) by swimwearlover featuring a face mask What I Wore on a Cruise Ship - Day 2 (Full Day at Sea) -Top: Cropped jumper from Chicwish -Bralette: Black from Hollister -Shoes: Black converse -Jeans: Skinny jeans from HM.com -Backpack: Michael Kors in black -Sunglasses: Black sunglasses from Ray-Ban -Watch: Michael Kors watch -Bangles: Gold bangles from Target **** So yesterday, my mom and I went to the spa. We both got facials and massages. I am the type to carry a lot of tension in my shoulders, and let me tell you that I have never felt more relaxed. It was wonderful! ****** I tried the Lapcos Charcoal Mask last night, and I think I liked the Milk mask much better. I didn't notice that it did anything to my skin. It claims it cleanses your pores, but I didn't notice any thing like that. The packaging is definitely eye catching though, and I bought mine at Anthropologie if you are interested.. ****...
